Yes you made alot of changes like that short drum solo at 00:09. You really pushed the limit but it's great, I can't stop coming back to it. The violins, snare, hi hat in the back ground really add to it, it's not heavy either very light.

No wonder I didn't recognize the song. When I saw the title, I didn't recognize any songs in SAB2 that had that name.
Overall it's really good. I actually like the beginning and the transfer between orchestral and rock.

It's not everyday you see someone try to remix one of Newground's songs.
The beat is good, and the sounds were well chosen.
The whap sound at 00:45 was not a good choice though.

I like the "whap" sound :P (It's a sidechained saw/sine wave in case anyone wants to get a bit more technical than "whap" :P )
